The longest and cooold winter & spring is finally over, and warm happy weather is here!! BLDJ is back for the 4th year with a bunch of fun news to share.

This is a closed event to U.S. military personnel, their families and friends, sorry. But we hope to collaborate on an international friendship event in the near future!

Mirrorball and bubble machine, pro DJ spinning on the dance floor; dance lessons & games; Chill Out Area with milk & diaper changing stations; and Play Zone filled with hands on crafts. Strike a pose at BLD Disco photo corner with funky props like colorful Afros! Let’s boogie!!
We’ve got lots of buggy parking and the party is on, rain-or-shine! Just 5 minutes walk from JR: Harajuku or Metro: Meiji Jingumae, in the heart of Tokyo but away from all the noise!!

WHAT IS A BABY LOVES DISCO PARTY?
What is BLDJ?
All across the country, Baby Loves Disco is slowly but surely transforming the hippest night clubs into child proof discos as toddlers, pre-schoolers and parents looking for a break from the routine playground circuit let loose for some post naptime, pre-dinner fun. Make no mistake, this is not the Mickey Mouse Club, and Barney is banned. Baby Loves Disco is an afternoon dance party featuring real music spun and mixed by real DJs blending classic disco tunes from the 70's, & 80's guaranteed to get those little booties moving and grooving.
The fun spills out from all corners of the club: mirror ball, bubble machine, a Chill-out room (with tents and edutainment toys), a diaper changing station, a full spread of healthy snacks and dancing, lots of dancing -- yet both lighting and music are softened to accommodate small children. At it's core, Baby Loves Disco is a community event that brings kids together with kids & parents together with parents. Started by professional dancer (and professional mom) Heather Murphy, the idea was to create an alternative to the pre-packaged world of entertainment for young kids.
Proudly entering our 6th year, BLD has grown to be a worldwide phenomenon. Parties have been held in 27 US cities and around the globe including Israel, Poland, UK, Japan, Hong Kong, Dubai, Australia and Korea -- and we'll be adding more new cool themed parties this year! read more..
NEW! Baby Loves Disco JAPAN original Interactive Show!!
"BLDJ Interactive Show" was launched last fall, in an effort to have more families enjoy our popular BLD dance lessons and activities. The size of the dance floors in a club restricted the no. of people taking part in our lessons, but BLD Interactive Shows are held at events/venues designed for over 100 participants. Room full of people dancing to the same beat, with the same steps is the essence of DISCO! Our shows are filled with cool dancing and singing activities for the entire family to enjoy.
The playlist used at our events is from our own Baby Loves Music series -- produced by Grammy Award winning artists that Moms & Pops are familiar with. The musicians have created quality songs with child friendly storyline and lyrics. Baby Loves JAZZ activities are designed for babies just learning to stand; while Baby Loves DISCO is everyone's favorite Boogie-oogie; and we've got Baby Loves HIP HOP for those who also like so sing along. Baby Loves Music continues to expand genre and activities!
